Julia Butterfly Hill – translating inspiration into action

Julia Butterfly Hill lived in a 1,000 year-old redwood tree for two years without touching the ground, as part of a successful call worldwide attention to the destruction of California’s ancient redwoods. She has addressed the U.N., Congress, and ongoing environmental and social justice issues around the world. Julia is the author of The Legacy of Luna: The Story of a Tree, a Woman and the Struggle to Save the Redwoods and One Makes the Difference: Inspiring Actions That Change Our World.
